The Northern Ireland Meat Exporters' Association includes in its membership the major beef and lamb EC approved slaughtering and cutting companies in Northern Ireland. The Association is a single contact point for all member companies and can direct enquirers with specific needs to specific companies.

Northern Ireland is unique in its smallness thus allowing standards of production and processing to be consistently controlled. This uniqueness has been harnessed to advantage, to create distinctive Farm Quality Assured beef and lamb products that meet some of the highest specifications of demanding customers in GB and in the EU. Our vision is to be perceived as delivering levels of service and a quality of trading relationship that is the best on offer. Being a small region we have the potential to offer a very high quality of market focus.

Our members are all highly professional processing businesses with full EU export approval and audited to high standards by independent third party auditors. All members have staff training programmes in place to develop staff in both vocational and business expertise and employ best practice in the workplace. Members are committed to giving the highest standards of customer service at all times and are willing to consider individual and specific requirements.
